Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Just ate at Don Antonio and the pizza was absolutely amazing. It instantly reminded me of da Michele in Naples β that same authentic Neapolitan quality and flavor. Truly outstanding. This is easily one of my top five pizzas anywhere in the world. Highly recommend.

Loved! Friends (locals) we met on a boat told us we had to come to this pizza shop and order the fried pizza. Didnβt have to tell us twice. What a good spot! They appear to only take walk ins, but have a series of small tables and a decent bar. Find the time to come - itβs totally worth it. The fried Genovese pizza was 10/10. Such a unique take on pizza and it was delicious - the chef with the idea has earned this restaurant a Michelin guide award and we totally support the recognition. Amazing service, tasty food, we would totally come back.

May 2026: Stopped by for lunch and shared a bunch of food. Started by sharing the squash and kale π₯¬ salad and the pere & noci salad. Both were good. I liked the squash and kale salad better. We shared the butcher pizza. Nice thin crust pizza π. Odd that they keep the meat separate on the pizza. As a result, only one type of meat was on a slice. We also shared the montanara classic pizza. They deep fry the dough before adding the toppings and baking. It was interesting. The dough is noticeably thicker and airy. Interesting but prefer the non montanara pizza. Enjoyed my lunch. Service was friendly and attentive. Would come back.

Iβve been a customer of Don Antonio for many years. This evening I ordered a Montarine Genovese which I would rate a 8 out of 10. The Genovese part was very good but the dough was not the best I have had there. Possibly fresher oil might have been the main factor. I tried to cut the first one and the knife was so dull it mangled the dough. My waiter was great and tried giving me a serrated knife which was also dull and not helpful in trying to cut the Montarine. I did enjoy that as well as a glass of a Super Tuscan style wine. I decided to order the Margherita Gialla. When it came to my table it was cut in 4 large 4 slices. Unfortunately when I asked someone if they could cut more it they said they could not because it had already been on my table and I had touched it. Hence I was offered a knife. I told the staff that the knives were not good and they would mangle my pizza. I then asked if they could bring a cutter to the table and they refused. They could have easily done that and brought the pizza cutter back to the dishwasher afterwards. This would not have been a safety issue. I asked if they could bring the scissor(used in many Neapolitan restaurants and kitchens) which I cou

Has been in my list for. Awhile but so disappointing. Fritto Misto was fantastic. Pizza was meh. Either highly overrated or maybe overwhelmed as constant flow of people. Much better pizza a block and a half away at See No Evil. Too much good pizza in this city to settle. After three tries to get it right, I just gave up.
